Add your app's keys
Your app needs some keys to run. For example, the API key for your payment provider or email service. On the page, these are called environment variables.
Buildprint keeps each key encrypted. It gives the keys to your app when you deploy.
Read each row
Each row shows:
The name of the key.
What the key is for.
Get key: a link to the page where you can find the key.
Steps to find the key, if you need them.
Keys you do not need to add
Some rows have no box to type in:
Set for you: Buildprint gets the value from an account you connected.
Generated: Buildprint makes a new value for you.
From Bubble: Buildprint copied the value from your Bubble app. Your Bubble app already used this key, so you do not need to find it again.
Add a key
Paste the value into the box.
Wait for the check mark. Buildprint saves the value by itself.
To see a secret value, click the eye icon. To change a value, type a new one. To remove a value, delete the text in the box.
The page shows how many keys are left. When all keys have a value, you can deploy.
If a key does not fill from Bubble
The row shows Couldn't fill from Bubble, with a reason. Add the value yourself. Common reasons:
Bubble has no value for it: the key is empty in your Bubble app. Get the key from the service.
The Bubble branch isn't synced: Buildprint does not have the latest copy of your Bubble app. Add the key yourself.
