Buildprint for Agencies

Managing client projects

Buildprint works well for agencies that manage multiple Bubble apps. A common setup is one workspace for the agency and one Buildprint project per client app.

One workspace, many projects

Workspace admins can see and manage every project in the workspace. Members and guests only see projects they have been explicitly added to.

This keeps each person's workspace focused on the projects they actually work on.

Assign team members to projects

Workspace admins can manage project access from Workspace settings > Members.

To update a person's project access:

  1. Open Workspace settings.

  2. Go to Members.

  3. Find the person.

  4. Open their actions menu and choose Manage projects.

  5. Check or uncheck the projects they should access.

  6. Save changes.

Workspace admins automatically have access to all projects, so they do not need project checkboxes.

Agency role model

A practical agency setup:

  • Primary admin: the agency lead or operations owner. Can transfer primary admin responsibility and delete the workspace.

  • Admins: senior team members who manage workspace settings, billing, integrations, members, and all client projects.

  • Members: developers, QA, or project managers who can create projects and work on projects they are added to.

  • Guests: project-scoped collaborators who only need access to specific client projects (generally the clients themselves)

Inside a project, use:

  • Admin for people who should manage project settings and access.

  • Member for people who should build, chat, and work in the project.

  • Guest for project-specific collaborators who can build and chat without broader workspace access.

  • Read-only for stakeholders who only need project context and Plan-mode chat.

Creating new client projects

Workspace Admins and Members can create projects. Guests cannot create projects.

There is not a separate per-user Can create projects toggle in the current product.
