Using Buildprint models

Buildprint works best when connected to your own ChatGPT or Claude subscription — this gives you the most control over model selection, usage limits, and cost. If you’d prefer not to manage a separate AI subscription, Buildprint models let you use agents on a pay-as-you-go basis instead.

How it works

Every workspace gets $5 of free Buildprint credit per month. This credit can be used by any project in the workspace. If you need more, you can top up at any time from your workspace billing settings.

Costs are passed on directly from our AI providers with no additional markup. You pay the same rates as if you were using the provider’s API directly.

When to use Buildprint models

Buildprint models are a good fit if you:

• Don’t want to manage a ChatGPT or Claude subscription

• Want to try agents without committing to another platform

• Have light or occasional usage that fits within the free monthly credit

For heavier usage, connecting your own ChatGPT or Claude subscription is recommended. You’ll get access to higher rate limits and can manage costs through your provider’s billing.
